It’s been a good week ^_^
On Sat we were in an SCA event in Hukka, which was absolutely lovely and a great success in all ways: tourney, court, feast, ball and all. I even ended up dancing quite a lot even if I haven’t gone to the dance training for ages! On Sun I attended two meetings related to the mundane side of SCA that — despite being quite lengthy — ended up really inspiring me to association work. All in all the whole weekend was filled with things I enjoy in the SCA and I felt really energetic and just plain happy all through it.
Due to the full schedule Dugi and I didn’t have much time to see his mum and not at all time to meet his grandparents, but luckily we’re going to Helsinki again for this coming weekend.
On Tue I went to a pub with a friend after work. We handled some association business first and then ended up sitting for several hours enjoying some whisky, some cider and plenty of each other’s company. It rocked.
Yesterday I braved the fitting booths of Stockmann and ended up finding a black silk shirt with plenty of laces, a top to go under it and a long black slip (not easy to find in this age of short skirts). I luv silk. And the little goth in me is overjoyed. She’ll be well fed after tonight, as well, since Dugi and I will go to Lacuna Coil’s concert ^_^
