n/p: Where’s Neil when you need him? (various artists)
RPG: Alexa the amnesiac Artiste (and who knows what else)

My blissful two week holiday just finished and I’ve been catching up with things at work, in LJ/blogosphere and in my inbox. Slowly but surely. Almost as if rubbing the end of holidays in, a load of DVDs arrived from Play yesterday along with the Neil Gaiman tribute album Where’s Neil when you need him? I’m loving to bits.

We went to see Pirate’s of the Caribbean 2 (liked a lot) in the movies (liked less — I’m thinking of stopping going to mainstream theatres altogether) last night and continuted Depping with Cry-Baby director’s cut ^_^ Other new DVDs include Beetlejuice, Corpse Bride, Cutthroat Island, Orlando and The Wizard Of Oz. Excalibur and Twister should be arriving soon.

I’m looking forward to some heavy comic parcels, too: I’ve put orders in for The Lost Girls and the ultimate edition of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Vol. 1 by Alan Moore as well as the upcoming ultimate edition of The Sandman Vol.1. Neil had some photos of the latter in his journal that convinced me to preorder NOW. I’d also love to get the adult cover version of Coraline. Why oh why do my parcels from Amazon travel so painfully slow… And man, I’m completely spoiled by the ultimate editions.

I should pull myself together and get a couple sets of meeting minutes and an article written soonish. Plus a bunch of other stuff, too. I’m still not sure why I’ve been lagging so bad this summer although the heat has surely contributed to it. I wish I’d start feeling more energetic or I’ll have to start giving up on some of the duties I’ve picked up for myself O.o

At least I feel way happier than I did before the holiday. And now that I think of it, I got plenty done during it.

Dugi’s mum is visiting us today and tomorrow, which is nice. I’m planning to cook Chinese for us tonight. Tomorrow evening a friend moves. On Thu I have my birthday and a dentist appontment. On Sat I have a few friends coming over and also Emma and Leke will come and stay with us for a few days. So, all is looking good (except the dentist, perhaps) ^_^
